Condition guide

When donating a vehicle to Coal Valley Charity Cars, it's important to understand the different classifications of vehicle conditions. Running vehicles can be sold at auction or resold directly, while non-running vehicles, regardless of age, can still qualify for donation. Even if a vehicle is not operational, it can be recycled or dismantled for parts, making it a valuable asset for funding our community programs. Salvaged vehicles also have potential, as they can be repaired or stripped for usable components. However, there are certain limitations concerning salvage titles and severe damage. Vehicles with major structural issues may not be accepted, and those with extensive frame damage could be assessed on a case-by-case basis. A clean title vehicle generally presents fewer challenges, while vehicles with salvage titles may come with additional documentation requirements. If you're unsure about your vehicle's status, our team is more than happy to assist you in determining its eligibility for donation.
